Kayaking in Taupo
Taupo provides some excellent kayaking on the Waikato River. For the experts there is a slalom course by Reid's Farm (off Huka Falls Rd), and the Ngaawapurua Rapids (aka Fulljames Rapids) - off Rapids Road. The Tongariro River by Turangi is worth a try too.
For learners, and less skilled, try the lake, or the Waikato River - off Pois Rd (by the Control Gates bridge). Try one of the providers below.
