Facilities are very basic - long drop toilets.
1. Maximum length of stay is now 7 days.
(Summer is from 1 October to 30 April)
2. Closed for camping during Winter (1 May to 30 September)
3. No open fires
4. Do not damage trees or plant, or disturb the soil
5. All vehicles are to keep to formed roads and parking areas
6. Rights of other users of the reserve are to be respected
Note: The river flow and height varies throughout the day as the demands for hydro electricity are met.
Please note:
This campsite is in danger of closing down because of abuse by its users (littering, vandalism, etc). Please do not abuse the site so it can remain open to campers for generations to come.
A liquor ban will be enforced between 10 pm and 7am from 27 December 2009 to
4 January 2010.
